The Junior Bike Track aka Traffic Light Park on the Marine Parade has been specifically designed for young children to learn basic road safety, in a safe and fun manner.
The Junior Bike Track on Marine Parade has working traffic lights, stop and give way signs and a roundabout. It offers children a realistic, safe and fun place to practise their cycling and road safety skills.
Bordering the May & Peter Harris playground, it is safe with a fenced perimeter and self-closing safety gates. Parents can enjoy bringing their children and bikes to the track, teaching them new road skills and then watching them practise in the safety of this facility.
The track primarily caters for children under ten years of age who haven't had much experience on the road. There is also a fenced matted space within the track specifically designed for little legs under three years.
