If you are interested in becoming a supplier to NCC or want to find out more about contract opportunities, then this page is essential reading. You will also find more information on using GETS, our online tendering portal, as well as links to all the tender documents you might need.
We use GETS, the New Zealand Government Electronic Tenders Service for most Council projects. GETS is a free service designed to promote open and fair competition. Using an online portal also speeds up the tendering cycle and reduces the time and cost for us and our suppliers.
To use GETS, suppliers must register online using a RealMe (Government online identification) log in. Registration is free and can be used to access several protected Government sites, such as IRD.
As a registered supplier, you can receive email notifications of any new tenders we publish. When you identify a project, you want to tender for, read the information carefully. The tender documents will provide all the information you need about the contract and how to respond. If you have questions about a particular project, or just need something clarified, you can do this through the GETS listing.
Make sure you understand the timetable of the tender and submit your bid before the closing date and time - do not be late!
Once tenders are received, we will:
If you have questions about a particular project available for tender, please use the question facility on the GETS listing.
Our procurement section has all you need to know about NCC’s contract opportunities and things to consider before you work with us.
If you are providing us with goods or services, then you will need a valid purchase order or contract. This page provides details of our T&Cs, including a link to our Purchase Order - Terms and Conditions of Supply.
If you are a supplier to NCC, then this might very well be the most important page on our website! This page tells you exactly what we need in our invoices. Our standard payments are on the 20th of the month following the month we get your invoice - so get them in quickly.
Health and safety is particularly important to us at NCC. Depending on the work you are doing for us, you may need to go through a pre-qualification process. It is standard but also important.
