Co-Lab Taradale

The meeting space in the old Taradale Community Rooms is available for hire. It can take 30 people (or 35 standing) and is perfect for small meetings, seminars or presentations.

Co-Lab Community, the Taradale collaborative space, is in the Lee Road building. Formerly known as the Taradale Community Rooms, it's home to Co Lab Opening June 2019 4four community organisations. It's meeting room is available to hire for meetings.

This room is suitable for small meetings, social functions and seminars. It's capacity is 35 people (standing) and 30 people seated theatre-style.

Equipment Available

  • The kitchenette contains an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a microwave. Crockery and cutlery consists of 30 sets.
  • Other equipment includes 30 chairs and three trestle tables (seats 6-8 per table).

More Information

  • There is no sound system or audio equipment in the hall.
  • The Council has no additional equipment for hire.
  • Cleaning equipment (vacuum, brooms, mop and bucket) are located in the cleaner's cupboard in the hallway.
  • There's ramp access and an accessible toilet.
  • Hirers must provide their own tea towels, dishwashing liquid, dish cloths, sharp knives, cutting boards and extra rubbish bags.
  • There is no alcohol allowed on the premises.
  • Our News Centre has a great yarn on the development of Co-Lab Taradale.
