If you’ve received a parking ticket and believe you have an explanation that excuses you from it, we’d be happy to hear from you. Complete and submit the form below, and we’ll be in touch. You can also dispute fines received if your vehicle has been stolen.
An explanation can be written to the Council when vehicle owners believe that they should not have to pay for the infringement notice. The infringement notice number and vehicle registration should be quoted on the letter of explanation. A name and address should also be provided.
If you receive an infringement notice for a Stationary Vehicle offence which happened when your vehicle was reported stolen, you'll need to supply in writing to the Council the details of the theft and attach a copy of the police report of the incident.
Once you have completed this form you will be emailed a copy for your own records. The email will be sent to the email address that has been entered on the form.
