Disputing Fines


An explanation can be written to the Council when vehicle owners believe that they should not have to pay for the ticket. The ticket number and vehicle registration should be quoted on the letter of explanation. A name and address should also be provided.

Stolen Vehicles

If you receive a ticket for a Stationary Vehicle offence that happened when your vehicle was reported stolen, you will need to supply in writing to the Council the details of the theft and attach a copy of the police report of the incident.
