Redclyffe Transfer Station is located on Springfield Road, a few minutes southwest of Taradale. It takes various types of recycling, scrap metal, green waste, building waste, general waste and other items including retired LPG bottles and waste oils. Booking is no longer required.
The Council operates a Refuse Transfer Station operation at 193 Springfield Road, Redclyffe.

Council's Refuse Transfer Station at Redclyffe accepts most domestic, garden and building waste.
All vehicles using these facilities are weighed in and out and charges are based on the weight and type of material dropped off.
The Recycling operation is part of Council's Waste Minimisation initiatives and accepted items can be dropped off free of charge. This service is set up to handle household volumes of recycling.
Monday to Saturday: 7.30 am - 4:45 pm
Sunday: 9.00 am - 4:45 pm
(All customers to be off-site by 5 PM everyday)
Anyone not following the rules may be trespassed.
Holidays: Closed on Good Friday, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Before Kiosk – Accepted items that are clean are free for recycle in non-Commercial volumes.
We ask that you separate recyclable items and place them in the correct bins to avoid contamination.
