This 2.23ha park is used for football in the winter and occasionally junior softball in summer. The Omarunui Bowling Club sits on the western side and the Napier Judo Club is located near the entrance. The adjoining Bledisloe School also uses the park for sport and play.
This park comprises land owned by the Napier City Council and the Hawke's Bay Education Board. By mutual agreement, the 2.23ha park is used by the adjoining Bledisloe School as well as the public.
The primary school uses the park for recreational and sporting activities.
An area on the western side of the park is leased to the Omarunui Bowling Club, and the Napier Judo Club training building is at the entrance to the park off Peddie Street.
