Keep Napier Beautiful Grant

Every year, on the first Saturday of November, Keep Napier Beautiful runs Napier’s Recycling Day. Much of the money raised from the day goes into a fund that support projects which enhance the beautification of Napier.

Application form for under $500 grants

Every year, on the first Saturday of November, Keep Napier Beautiful, an independent community-based group, conducts Napier’s Recycling Day. Keep Napier Beautiful wishes to put some of the funds collected on that day back into the community to encourage worthy projects.

Keep Napier Beautiful therefore invites community organisations such as schools, churches and environmental groups, marae and other interested organisations to apply for grants from this fund. Grants, subject to a maximum of $500, must be used for projects which will enhance the beautification of Napier. Gardens and plantings are eligible but equipment is not. Applications should be accompanied by an estimate of the total cost, a photograph of the site you intend beautifying; and if your application is successful, the grant will be paid to you on quotes provided by your supplier.
