Temporary road closure of SH 50 Waiohiki Road and Franklin Road Eastbound from Monday 9 January to Friday 27 January due to resurfacing works

Monday 9 January to Friday 27 January, 6am-6pm

  • Due to resurfacing works, there will be an eastbound road closure in place from Monday, 9 January 2023 to Friday, 27 January 2023 between 6:00 a.m. to  6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturdays only. 
  • Outside of these times, there will be a 30km/h speed restriction in place.
  • Plan your journey accordingly allowing extra time for travel.
  • Note these works are weather dependant and may be postponed at short notice.
  • Please note, westbound will remain open.
  • Follow sign posted detour while closures are in place.
