Get set for a night of delight at the Napier Night Fiesta – Winter Style at Clive Square East, in the Napier CBD next Friday 10 June, from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
It is one of more than 55 events that form Winter F.A.W.C! 2016. Fabulous food and wine events set in some of Hawke’s Bay’s best locations take place over all four weekends this month, beginning this weekend.
The fun at the free Napier Night Fiesta – Winter Style includes music by local musicians including Ian Munro, salsa dancing and fire poi displays, a performance by Bay Batucada Drummers, and face painting and balloons for kids available. Top vendors will offer a range of goods, such as mulled wine, Vietnamese and Lao food, curries, kebab wraps and baked treats.
“Our summer Fiestas were a hit, so it’s nice to take that further and offer people something a bit different for winter," Fiesta instigator and Napier City Council Heritage Planner Fleur Lincoln says.
"We’re also delighted to be able to contribute something to this year’s Winter F.A.W.C!”
Hawke’s Bay Tourism General Manager Annie Dundas said it was great to have the Napier Night Fiesta as part of the Winter F.A.W.C! Series.
“Winter F.A.W.C! just goes from strength to strength and events like this add so much colour and energy to the overall event series.”
Some vendors will have EFT-POS available.
