Welcome to participants, volunteers, supporters and organisers of the 2016 Hawke’s Bay Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km races. The time has come where you can put all that hard work into action!

Nearly 5,000 people have entered this inaugural event, including around 1,000 entered into the full marathon and 2,500 in the half marathon. Needless to say, the region is going to be buzzing!

Here’s some information that will help on race day, Saturday 14 May:

Road closures and traffic delays

There are a number of road closures in the Hawke's Bay Area on event day. Below is a summary of road closures in place but please download the Road Closure Map below or on the Hawke's Bay Marathon website for the latest information.

Spectator and supporter viewing locations

To ensure your support crew, family and friends can see you out there on the event course and cheer you on, organisers have identified three great spectator viewing locations. Download it below or view it on the Hawke's Bay Marathon website.

The finish line area is at Sileni Estates Winery, Maraekakaho Road, Hastings.
