Temporary closure of the Redclyffe/Waiohiki Bridge from 7am-5pm, Sunday 5 May.

The Redclyffe/Waiohiki Bridge will be closed from 7am-5pm, Sunday 5 May, due to maintenance works.

  • Traffic will be detoured via Meeanee Road to SH2.
  • Please note: Pedestrians will still be able to use the bridge during these works and in the event of an emergency, emergency vehicles will be able to cross the bridge.
  • To complete the works, contractors require fine weather. So if it is wet, the maintenance work will be postponed to the next available dry Sunday (ideally Sunday 12 May).
