Temporary road closure of SH50 between Waghorne Street and Battery Road from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 January

SH50 7pm to 5am

There is a temporary road closure of SH50 between Waghorne Street and Battery Road from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 January, due to planned maintenance and asphalt resurfacing.

  • On the 15th & 16th Jan 2024 between 7pm & 5am the Road will be (closed completely) at the intersection of Lever St and West Quay by Shed 2. No access to all vehicles past this point during these dates and times
  • Traffic management will be in place.
  • Detours will be in place for light vehicles, via Battery Road and Waghorne Street.
  • Detours will be in place for HPMVs via Hyderabad Road, Thackery Street, Tennyson Street and Marine Parade.
