On Saturday 4 November from 9am, we are doing some important work on the Greenmeadows wastewater pump station in Gloucester Street. This means we will need to turn off the water in this area for up to three hours. Some households on Kennedy Road may be affected.
Occasionally, when the water comes back on it may be discoloured. If this happens, turn on the cold tap and leave it running until the water runs clear. This will flush the line and the water will return to normal. If the water doesn’t run clear after ten minutes, please call us on 06 835 7579.
The works on the wastewater pump station are weather dependent. If the weather is unsuitable to get the work done, we will postpone until the next dry Saturday.
