The public has an opportunity next Saturday to see what’s behind the fence at the Napier War Memorial Centre on Marine Parade.
Members of the project team, and the Napier Mayor, will be on site between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 1 April to guide visitors and provide updates on the Napier War Memorial construction.
The work site is expanding early next week to include a section of the Soundshell lawn, so ground works to prepare for the re-installation of the restored floral clock can begin.
The effects of Cyclone Gabrielle has delayed this project, which is now expected to be completed by June.
