District Plan: Further Submissions (closes 7 May 2024)

Temporary road closure of SH50 Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 March.

Road closure tile

Plan ahead for a temporary road closure of SH50 from 7pm-5am on Monday 18 March and Tuesday 19 March, due to road resurfacing.

  • SH50 will be closed from the Rothman’s building to Pandora Road.
  • There will be a detour suitable for all vehicles during this closure.
  • There will be soft manned closures preventing heavy vehicle access at the Pandora Road start point and the eastern Port gate.
  • Residential and light vehicles only will be allowed through to hard closures of Waghorne Street and Battery Road.
  • Residents will be able to access to their properties.
  • Light vehicle only detour - Battery Road and Waghorne Street.
  • Heavy vehicles including HPMV detour - SH50 Hyderabad Road, Thackery Street, Tennyson Street and Marine Parade.
  • Please note this work is weather dependent.
