Temporary road closure of SH50 Breakwater Road Saturday 24 February to Sunday 25 February due to triathlon sports event.

Ahuriri Napier

A temporary road closure of SH50 at Breakwater Road will be in place from 12pm-7pm on Saturday 24 February and 7am-2pm on Sunday 25 February due to a triathlon sports event.

  • A full road closure will be in place for State Highway 50 between Coote Road and Bridge Street.
  • Local detours will be in place for through traffic, via Hyderabad Road, Thackery Street, Tennyson Street and Marine Parade. This route is suitable for all vehicles.
  • Access to Ahuriri Village and residences will be controlled on site during the event.
  • VMS boards will be in place advising the public of closure date and times
  • Please allow extra time for your journey or avoid this area during this time.
