District Plan: Further Submissions (closes 7 May 2024)

Temporary road closure of State Highway 50 and Battery Road intersection and Corunna Bay intersection from Monday 21 August to Tuesday 5 September.

Monday 21 August to Tuesday 5 September, 6am-6pm.

Plan ahead for temporary traffic management at the intersection with Battery Rd from Monday 14 August to Tuesday 5 September, 7am-5pm each day excluding weekends. Please consider detouring via Lever St.
Starting on Monday it will be entry only onto Battery Rd from SH50 as work begins on the southern lane of Battery Rd.
When work switches to the northern lane of Battery Rd it will be exit only onto SH50 from Battery Rd.
At the intersection on Battery Rd our crews will be installing a pedestrian island, extending a section of the footpath, updating cycleway markings and repositioning pram crossings. During the works a 30km/h temporary speed restriction will stay in place.
These works are weather dependent and may be postponed at short notice.
