What is Smarty Grants?

Smarty Grants is an online platform that enables grant makers to manage their grants in a more efficient and effective way. It offers a range of features that make the grant management process more streamlined, including online application forms, automated processes, and reporting tools.

How does it work?

If you're interested in applying for a grant through Napier City Council, you'll need to register on the Smarty Grants platform first. This is a quick and easy process that will give you secure access to your application forms, allowing you to work on them over time rather than having to complete them all at once.

Once you've registered, you can start filling out your application form. It's important to note that you can save your application as you go, (as the system does not have an auto save function), so you don't have to complete it all at once. You can come back to it later and continue where you left off. Once you've completed your application, you'll need to review it before submitting it. You'll also need to make sure that you've answered all of the compulsory questions.

When you're ready to submit your application, simply click the 'Submit' button. You'll receive an automated confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached. If you don't receive this email, then your application may not have been submitted successfully.
