Temporary road closure of SH51 Waitangi Bridge Clive Tuesday 11 April and Monday 17 April for bridge repairs.

SH51 Bridge Inspections

Tuesday 11 April, 10am-11am & Monday 17 April, 10am-11am

There are two temporary road closures in place for SH51 Waitangi Bridge Clive from 10am to 11am on Tuesday 11 April and Monday 17 April due to bridge repairs.

  • Due to bridge inspections, this bridge will be closed in both directions on Tuesday, 11 April 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and Monday, 17 April 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 
  • Local detours will be in place for traffic.
  • VMS boards will be in place advising the public of the closure date and times.
  • Plan your journey accordingly allowing extra time for travel.
  • Please note that these works are weather dependent so may be postponed or extended at short notice.
