Civil Defence Public Alerting Systems

Civil Defence conducted familiarisation of its Stinger systems in the Havelock North, Hastings CBD, Stortford Lodge, Mahora and Flaxmere on Thursday, 21st September 2017 between midday and 1pm AND its bi-annual public alerting systems test on Sunday, 24th September 2017 at 11.50am to 1pm.

Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey to help us analyse the effectiveness of the systems and identify any gaps needing attention.

Steps:

  1. START by entering the address of the place you were at when the test was conducted. If you are unsure of the exact address an approximate location can be found using the street name and selecting a number.
  2. The rest of the survey will follow once you submit the address. (Locations are essential to analyse the public alert systems coverage).

Where were you when the alert sounded?
