Dog Control Reports
An annual report on Napier City Council’s Dog Control activities (as required by s10A of the Dog Control Act 1996). Reporting on dog control policy and practices in Napier, including the number of registered dogs, the number of probationary owners and disqualified owners and the number of dogs classified as dangerous.

Safer Napier Annual Reports
The Safer Napier Annual Report is a summary of the collaborative projects and initiatives under taken in the calendar year for the International Safe Communities programme. This programme aims to improve community Safety in Napier and the annual report includes updates on how well we are doing and covers injury prevention, road safety, crime prevention, alcohol related harm and community resilience.

Napier Social Monitor Reports
The Napier Social Monitor survey sets out a framework for considering social wellbeing and provides important information about the current quality of life of Napier citizens. The report provides a general, but brief, insight into the social status of a small number of local residents of Napier. Items measured relate to housing, health, safety, employment, education and training, vehicle and internet access, nature of community and community relationships. The Napier City Council’s Community Development Department has produced these community surveys since 1998 on an annual basis then changed to a survey done every second year starting from 2003.
