Road Closures - Napier Art Deco Festival 2022

2022 02 10 Art Deco 2022

A series of road closures will take place from Friday 18 February to Sunday 20 February due to the 2022 Napier Art Deco Festival.

Road closures will take place on the following days and times:

  • Friday 18 February, 3pm-10pm
  • Saturday 19 February, 6am-10pm
  • Sunday 20 February, 6am-4pm

Roads that will be closed during these times are as follows:

  • Full road closure of Herschell Street from Emerson Street to Tennyson Street.
  • Tennyson Street from Hastings Street to Marine Parade (No entry – one lane closed).
  • Full road closure of Marine Parade from Tennyson Street to Albion Street – HPMVs are advised to turn off prior to Marine Parade at SH51 Ellison Street.
  • Marine Parade from Tennyson Street to Browning Street (No entry – one lane closed).
  • Albion Street from Hastings Street to Marine Parade (No entry – one lane closed)
Important Information
  • There will be no on street parking available within any of the above noted road closure areas. 

  • Any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s risk and expense.
  • Barrier passes will be provided to the residents/businesses of the full road closure areas only.
  • In the event of a change to The COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light) levels, please refer to the NCC website or Facebook for updated information.
