Temporary Road Closure

Temporary Road Closure - Resurfacing Works – State Highway 50 Napier – Between Waghorne Street and Coronation Street (Ahuriri Bypass).

SH 50 - between the intersections of Waghorne Street and Coronation Street (Ahuriri Bypass). 

Due to resurfacing works, this section of road will be closed in both directions on Saturday, 3 October 2020 to Monday, 5 October 2020 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A detour will be in place. Please follow the detour and allow extra time for your journey or avoid this area during this time.

Detour route:

Westbound traffic, turn left on to Waghorne Street, then right on to Kenny Avenue.  Continue left on to Bull Street, then right on to Battery Road.  Turn right on to Coronation Street then left back on to SH50.  Reverse for eastbound traffic.
