Clarification of Napier Aquatic Centre expansion project figure

The cost of the proposed Ivan Wilson Expansion, the first option of three mooted for the Napier Aquatic Centre Expansion, has been revised downwards to $12 per household a year.

Napier City Council wish to advise a change to a figure previously published relating to the Napier Aquatic Centre expansion options.

Council is currently seeking feedback from the community on which option is the best for Napier.

The first option, the Ivan Wilson Expansion, is a proposed extension to the existing facilities. The approximate cost per household is $12 per year. Previously it was stated as $63 per household per year.

Engagement continues until the 18^th of September and whatever option is the preferred option and mandated by Council will have rigid financial modelling applied to it before its inclusion in the Long Term Plan 2018-28 - which is when and how we formally consult.
