Road Closures for the 2018 Art Deco Festival

Tremain's Art Deco Festival

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, section 342, that the following roads will be closed on the dates and times shown. The closures are required to accommodate festival activities.

Thursday 16 February 5.00pm to midnight

  • Emerson Street from Hastings Street to Herschell Street
  • Herschell Street from Emerson Street to Tennyson Street

Friday 17 February midday to Sunday 19 February 5.30pm

  • Emerson Street from Hastings Street to Herschell Street
  • Herschell Street from Emerson Street to Tennyson Street

Friday 17 February 5.30pm to Sunday 19 February 5.30pm

  • Marine Parade from Albion Street to Browning Street
  • Tennyson Street from Hastings Street to Marine Parade

Friday 17 February 9.00am to Sunday 19 February 6.00pm

  • Hastings Street from Emerson Street to Dickens Street

Saturday 18 February 6.00am to 2.30pm – Vintage Car Parade

  • Emerson Street. from Clive Square East to Clive Square West
  • Clive Square East full length
  • Clive Square West from Tennyson Street to Emerson Street
  • Carlyle Street from Tennyson Street to Clive Square West
  • Munroe Street from Dickens Street to Station Street

There will be no on-street parking available within any of the above noted road closure areas. Any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s risk and expense.

Saturday 18 February 10.30am to midnight – Street Party

  • Emerson Street from Clive Square East to Hastings Street
  • Dalton Street from Tennyson St to Dickens Street
  • Hastings Street from Dickens Street to Tennyson Street

Sunday 19 February *12.30am to 1.00pm - Soap Box Derby

  • Herschell Street from Browning Street to Tennyson Street
  • Tennyson Street from Herschell Street to Cathedral Lane
  • Hastings Street from Dickens Street to Browning Street

*    There will be no on-street parking available within this area. Any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away at the owner’s risk and expense.
