For more than 30 years Napier City Council has helped collect gifts and donations for the Napier Christmas Cheer Appeal and this year is no exception. From now until December 19 we'll be collecting gifts, non-perishable food items and money for those less fortunate in our community.
Parcels from the Christmas Cheer Appeal are often the only gifts many Napier families receive. We would love to have your support again this year, in whatever way you can.
All donations of gifts or food can be dropped off at the Napier or Taradale libraries. Monetary donations can be sent to Napier City Council Christmas Cheer Appeal, Private Bag 6010, Napier 4142, or you can pay by internet banking to Napier City Council account number 03 0698 0289001 00. Please ensure that you enter ‘Xmas Cheer App’ in the reference box.
Thank you to everyone who has given so much to this appeal in the past, and those of you who will do so this year. Staff will be hitting the streets with their collection buckets on Wednesday, 7 December so if you see them please give generously.
