Notice of Special Consultative Procedure

SECTION 83 and 86 of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 2002

Consultation on the Draft Napier City Freedom Camping Bylaw 2016

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 83 and 86 of the Local Government Act 2002 that the Napier City Council is proposing to adopt the following bylaw:

• Napier City Freedom Camping Bylaw 2016 (pdf 4MB)

Copies of the relevant documents covering the proposed bylaw will be available for public comment from 19 September 2016 until 12 noon 28 October 2016.

Public Inspection
The following information will be available for public viewing throughout this period on the Napier City Council website www.napier.govt.nz key word #freedomcampingbylaw, and at the Napier Public Library and Taradale Public Library:

• The Statement of Proposal for the Napier City Freedom Camping Bylaw 2016
• Proposed Napier City Freedom Camping Bylaw 2016
• Submission Forms

The closing date for submissions is 12 noon, 28 October 2016.

Public Participation Process
All written submissions should be addressed to the Senior Policy Planner.
