Local residents are being encouraged to “live a little lighter” with renowned speaker, author, and sustainability advocate Nicola Turner at three events in Hawke’s Bay in April.
The events are on in Napier and Hastings on 9 and 10 April, in partnership with Napier City Council and Hastings District Council. A third event is focused on the business community and is a collaboration between the councils and Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Nicola Turner, the founder of Mainstream Green, uses her understanding of human behaviour to provide a light-hearted take on how to make more mindful choices which can save time, energy and money. Residents can also take a dive into the world of sustainable fashion or be inspired to live lighter, or, for businesses, learn how to get staff onside to reduce their environmental impact.
Nicola Turner made it her mission to simplify her family’s life and live more sustainably after nearly 15 years in the corporate world of consumer goods. She now uses what she learnt to help others do the same.
