King Street, Taradale, will have an emergency road closure in place on Saturday, 30 November 2024, from 7am to 5pm. This closure is necessary to undertake urgent maintenance on one of Napier's drinking water bores.
Key components of the pump and pipe system will be replaced on Saturday, with flushing and testing to follow on Sunday. During testing, some water may be pumped onto the ground to ensure the network is clean, safe, and ready for use.
We appreciate your understanding as we carry out this essential work to maintain the quality and reliability of our water supply. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during the closure period. Thank you for your patience.
