Shout out to the Napier City Council teams behind the Soundshell and Colonnade Restoration Project completed last year! The project took out three awards at the Art Deco Hawke’s Bay Heritage Awards last Friday recognising our teams’ hard work and vision.
We are really proud of the places and spaces that help make Napier iconic, and we put a lot into making sure they are cared for and preserved. The awards won are the Public Realm Saved and Restored Award, the Heritage Tourism Award and the Art Deco Era Saved and Restored Award.
So next time you find yourself visiting Napier’s Soundshell, look around and enjoy. It’s a winner, officially!
