Every year, Creative New Zealand allocates Creative Communities funding to councils across New Zealand. We distribute these funds twice a year through the Creative Communities Scheme, supporting a thriving local creative and artistic community.
Creative Communities grants usually range from $500 to $2,500. Do you have a community arts project, festival, or performance that needs financial help to make it happen? Whether you are an individual, or part of a group or organisation, if you have an idea that can add some creative zing to our city, we want to hear about it!

Napier’s Youth Council awards grants to the city’s young people. The grants help people between age 12 and 24 to achieve their goals and dreams. Typically, grants range between $200 to $1000 over four categories – Sport, Art/Culture, Service/Leadership, Other.
If you live in Napier and are involved in a project or activity that promotes your personal development, then think about applying! Applications close on Friday 9 August.
