Clean-up following weather events

We're in full clean-up mode today after our recent weather events. Please be aware of the following updates:

  • A section of the Ahuriri boardwalk, near The Boardwalk Bar & Bistro, is closed due to damage. It will stay closed until it's safe to reopen.
  • The Marine Parade Waterfront Carpark (opposite Coote Road) is now open again after being closed overnight due to surface flooding. Debris has washed up along the Marine Parade pathway and surrounding areas due to high swells and surface flooding. We ask that you avoid this area, especially from the carpark towards Ocean Spa, for your safety. Our teams will be coming through to clear this debris.
  • The Viewing Platform will remain closed until further notice.

Thanks everyone for your patience and understanding, and for being so supportive and kind to our crews who are getting stuck into this work.
