SH2 Between Whirinaki and Tutira road closure

State Highway 2 (SH2) between Whirinaki and Tutira will be closed from 9:00PM to 5:00AM on Monday 15, Tuesday 16, and Wednesday 17 July 2024, to facilitate recovery works including critical rock blasting that necessitates the closure of both lanes.

  • In case of delays, contingency dates are set for Thursday 18 and Friday 19 July during the same hours.
  • There will be no detour in place, so travellers are advised to plan accordingly.
  • Emergency services on priority response will be assisted around the closure.
  • We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
