Splash pads closed, cosy corners open!

Now that it’s getting chilly outside we have turned off the splash pads in our Napier playgrounds. We know how much fun they are and everyone will look forward to enjoying them when they are switched back on later in the year. In the meantime, here’s some cosy corners to stay safe and dry in over the cooler months.

Hawke's Bay Holt Planetarium

Take in the beauty of Napier’s night sky and marvel at the stars from Hawke’s Bay’s very own Planetarium dome. A fantastic place to learn more about the world above us! Open Sundays from 7pm to 9pm. Prices start from $8, cash only.

Taradale Library
Seek solace from the chill and lose yourself in the pages of a good book at Taradale Library. Cosy up on the comfy couches or beanbags or challenge the whānau to a board game or puzzle.

Ocean Spa
When the temperature drops, there's nothing like a rejuvenating hot soak at Ocean Spa. Treat yourself to a relaxing swim or spa experience.

Faraday Museum
Discover history through interactive experiences at the Faraday Museum of Technology. Explore the evolution of technology through hands-on exhibits. Pull, push, and interact to uncover what life was like in days gone by.
