If you are aged over 65, we want to hear your views on how age-friendly our city is! As older Napier residents, you can provide important observations about our community, through a survey we’re currently running.
Do you find activities and events are organised in places that are accessible to you? Do you feel like a valued member of society?
Your responses to these questions, and many more, will help the researchers from The Hague University, Netherlands, who initiated this global survey. They want to develop a better picture of what it means, in practice, to be age-friendly. Napier is the first place in New Zealand to take part! The results will also provide valuable feedback for us.
To participate, complete the online survey here. Paper copies are available at the Napier and Taradale libraries and Napier City Council Customer Service Centre.
