We are doing essential remedial work at the Napier Aquatic Centre in Onekawa but that doesn’t mean it’s closed.
Quite the opposite. There’s always lots going on. Learn-to-swim for adults and kids, baby and toddler classes, swimming experiences for those with disabilities, aqua-jogging, and deep water survival classes are just a few of the activities that take place at Onekawa.
There’s also plenty of opportunity to swim laps for fitness, build confidence with water play, spend quality family time together in a fun and relaxed environment or meet up with friends for a recreational swim.
Parts of the complex will be closed for short periods of time but we’re working hard to avoid interruptions to all the awesome stuff that happens at Napier Aquatic Centre. More information on the remedial work can be found here.
The Learn to Swim programme offers swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels. The team provides a supportive environment to help participants of all ages become proficient and confident swimmers. For more information on the Learn to Swim programme visit the Napier Aquatic Centre website.
