Summary of Decisions Requested - Extension to further submissions period

Pursuant to Section 37(1)(a) of the Resource Management Act 1991 and Clause 7 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Napier City Council gives notice that the period for making further submissions in relation to the Proposed Napier District has been extended and further submissions now close at 5pm on Monday 20 May 2024.

Copies of the Summary of Decisions Requested and the original submissions are available for public inspection, at the following locations:
• Online at www.sayitnapier.nz
• At the Napier and Taradale Libraries
• Napier City Council Customer Service Centre

Further Submissions
Further submissions are invited in support of, or opposition of an original submission. Further submissions must be lodged using the prescribed form (Form 6) in the Resource Management Act (RMA), which can be completed online or downloaded from the Napier City Council website at www.sayitnapier.nz.

If you don’t have access to a computer, please visit the Napier or Taradale Library or Napier City Council Customer Service Centre to submit online, or print a Form 6 from our website.

Any hard copy forms must be submitted at the Napier or Taradale Libraries or Napier City Council Customer Service Centre, or posted to the Napier City Council, Private Bag 6010, Napier 4142.

A copy is also required to be sent to the original submitter not later than five working days after lodging the ‘further submission’ with the Napier City Council (Clause 8A, Schedule 1). You can find the address for service of the original submitter on our website.

Further submissions must be lodged by no later than Monday 20 May 2024. Following the close of further submissions, a report will be prepared on the proposal and a hearing date will be set and notified to all submitters and ‘further submitters’ who wish to be heard.
