Temporary overnight road closure of SH51 Waitangi Bridge Clive Monday 27 March - Tuesday 28 March for bridge repairs.

SH51 Bridge Inspections

6.30pm, Monday 27 March to 5am, Tuesday 28 March AND 6:30pm, Thursday 30 March to 5am, Friday 31 March

There are two temporary overnight road closures in place for SH51 Waitangi Bridge Clive from 6.30pm, Monday 27 March to 5am, Tuesday 28 March and 6:30pm, Thursday 30 March to 5am, Friday 31 March, due to bridge repairs.

  • Due to bridge inspections, this bridge will be closed in both directions overnight on Monday 27 March and Thursday 30 March.
  • Local detours will be in place for traffic.
  • VMS boards will be in place advising the public of the closure date and times.
  • Plan your journey accordingly allowing extra time for travel.
  • Please note that these works are weather dependent so may be postponed or extended at short notice.
