Monday 21 November 2022 - Friday 25 November 2022, All Day (Weather Permitting)

  • Due to safety improvement works, Te Awa Avenue will be closed between SH51 Ellison Street and Creagh Street to all north bound traffic from Monday 21 November 2022 to Friday 25 November 2022 all day (weather permitting).
  • Local detours will be in place for traffic via Creagh Street, Chambers Street and SH51.
  • Delays are expected along this route.
  • VMS boards will be in place advising the public of closure date and times.
  • Please allow extra time for your journey or avoid this area during this time.
  • Please note that these works are weather dependent so may be postponed or extended at short notice.

Monday 28 November 2022 - Thursday 1 December 2022, All Day (Weather Permitting)

  • Due to safety improvement works, SH51 Ellison Street will be closed between Te Awa Avenue and Marine Parade to all east bound traffic from Monday 28 November 2022 to Thursday 1 December 2022 all day (weather permitting). 
  • Local detours will be in place for traffic via Marine Parade and Te Awa Avenue.
  • Delays are expected along this route.
  • VMS boards will be in place advising the public of closure date and times.
  • Please allow extra time for your journey or avoid this area during this time.
  • Please note that these works are weather dependent so may be postponed or extended at short notice.
