Note that dedicated pre-warning signage to warn trucks of this event will be installed at Marine Parade intersection of Ellison Street, Warren Street and Vautier Street with dedicated recommended detour signage for trucks at Ellison Street, Warren Street and Vautier Street advising to turn down Ellison Street, Warren Street or Vautier Street (rather than Albion Lane).
Note that there will be a temporary detour in place on the Marine Parade Foreshore Reserve Pathway/Hawke’s Bay Trails from Thursday, 31 December 2020 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. between Browning Street and Tennyson Street. This will remain down on the beach level pathway and send cyclists/pedestrians onto the grass off the pathway.
After 3:00 p.m. there will be a temporary detour in place on the Marine Parade Foreshore Reserve Pathway/Hawke’s Bay Trails from 42 Marine Parade (Ocean Spa) to just past the Soundshell. This will send cyclists/pedestrians on to the shoulder/parking
lane from 42 Marine Parade to the Soundshell and direct cyclists/pedestrians back to the pathway behind the i-Site.
The Marine Parade Foreshore Reserve Pathway/Hawke’s Bay Trails will be fully open on Friday, 1 January 2021 by 8:00 a.m.
