The Sweeney Shield Relay takes place on Saturday 7 September in the west of the city - in and around the leafy streets of Taradale. While there will not be any road closures as such, marshals will be manning intersections at the following streets for the Sweeney Shield Relay.
We're expecting about 60 runners who will be briefed beforehand and reminded they must obey road rules and that traffic has right of way. Cones will be placed at key crossing points to guide runners and warn vehicles. The relay will run from midday until 4.30pm.
