We look after 28 steps and ramps on the Hill. We're doing maintenance and 'renewal' work on three of them over the next few weeks (hoping to be done by 20 June). Signs are up advising residents to take a different path. These are they (so you don't slog up a hill and get a nasty surprise).

  • Denholm Rd Steps (alongside Denholm Rd) - 6 May to 14 May
  • Burke St Steps (connecting Burke up to Hospital Tce) - 10 June to 20 June
  • Lower Madeira Steps (connecting Chorus building on Browning St up to Madeira Rd AND Shakespeare Rd up to Madeira) - 14 May to 10 June
  • Upper Madeira Steps (connects Madeira Road up to Cameron Terrace) – one side of the steps only will be closed UNLESS Lower Madeira is also closed.
