Come along to the Great Summer Job Fair

Napier City Council has a number of great summer job opportunities across its facilities. We’ll be holding a job fair to give applicants the chance to pop in and have a chat with the team about the vacancies below:

Kennedy Park Resort Napier

Hawke's Bay's premier holiday accommodation park, Kennedy Park Resort Napier provides an array of facilities to keep the entire family entertained.

• Front of House / Waiting staff (3 casual positions)
• Kitchen Hand (1 casual position)
• Housekeepers (6 casual positions, 7 temporary positions)
• Children's Activity Assistant (2 temporary positions.  Experience in organising holiday programmes and early childhood education training is required)

Napier Libraries

Napier Libraries aim to provide safe and welcoming community spaces in Napier and Taradale, where the informational, recreational and educational needs of everyone are met with free and personalised service.

• Summer Reading Programme Assistants (3 casual positions)

Bay Skate

Bay Skate, a multi-use, world-class roller sports park located on Napier's Marine Parade. It caters for skateboarding, roller derby, bmx, scootering, inline hockey, roller-skating, artistic skating and rollerblading.

• Crew Members (2 casual positions)

Par2 MiniGolf

Adjacent to Napier’s i-SITE Visitor Centre on Marine Parade, Par2 MiniGolf’s 18-hole putting courses are perfect for challenging your family and friends, or businesses wanting to build some team spirit.

• Par2 MiniGolf Assistants (3 casual positions)

Location: Kennedy Park Resort, Storkey Street, Napier

Please bring a list of recent work experience, references, identification (passport or birth certificate plus your driver's licence), and working visa/proof of residency (if required).

Successful applicants must be available to start in early December 2018 and will be required to undertake pre-employment checks on the day (including, a drug test and police check/vetting). You should also have the flexibility to work weekends, public and school holidays.
