Nice one, team!

A MASSIVE $4774 was raised for Environment Hawke's Bay by Beard Brothers and Switched On yesterday at Mitre 10 MEGA Napier & Hastings. KA PAI E HOA MĀ!

What started as a conversation of two neighbours over the fence, has resulted in their respective teams pulling together to provide BBQ cook ups for locals at Mitre 10 - to raise much needed funds for Environment Hawke’s Bay! These funds will go directly towards relief for Cyclone Gabrielle.

Thanks for all your amazing mahi team! If you know of any unsung heroes in our community, be sure to let the team at Team Napier know!

There’s nothing quite like a bit of home baking to make your day, right?

A whopping 200 chocolate muffins were baked by these students and their teachers Maia Murray and Sandra Howard from Tamatea Intermediate School yesterday!

The students were looking for a way to pay it forward after the school had been helped by so many volunteers with the clean up of our fallen trees. In particular a very large 40 year old tree that was most likely planted when the school first opened back in the 70’s!

The muffins were distributed to Bay View/ Eskdale and Brookfields areas where flood victims/ volunteer workers are.

Amazing mahi, team!

Community spirit at its finest here!

A massive effort has been taking place at Bayview Hotel & Holiday Park where these local heroes have set up the premises as a drop off centre of food and other essentials for locals affected by Cyclone Gabrielle!

On top of that, locals have been pitching in to drop off and make much needed meals for the community too.

Amazing mahi, team!
