A Hard Day's Night!

A Hard Day's Night!

The music you’ve known all these years ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ is a Beatles tribute celebrating the music of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Created by David Day, the music will be performed by many artists in a variety of musical genres.

Let us take you on a musical journey with David Leavy as your compere.

Imagine all of this talent and music within the walls of one of Napier’s most iconic and majestic buildings, The Waiapu Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist.

‘Trio Nouveau’ will get the concert off to a jazzy start with a Beatles medley.

Wendy Caldwell will perform Cilla Black’s most popular songs including the much loved ‘You’re My World’. (Cilla Black was a good friend of the Beatles and they wrote the theme song to her TV show.)

John Redman – Will perform ‘Fool on the Hill’ and ‘Something.’

Campbell Lovatt – (Classical guitar) will accompany Wendy Caldwell and play 3 songs including ‘Yesterday.’

Central Hawke’s Bay Concert Choir (Leader –Kathy Fletcher) – Will perform several songs including ‘She’s Leaving Home’ and ‘Imagine.’

David Brock – Performs ‘A Hard Day’s Night’

‘Lovejoy’ (Rock Band) – This accomplished band will present several of the Beatle’s favourites.

You know you’ll feel alright when you join us, at A Hard Day’s Night!
