Browning Street Roundabout

Planning Started: 2014
Construction Started: August 2014
Completed: September 2014

A roundabout at Browning Street and Marine Parade was installed during 2014 to improve the traffic management and flow at this busy intersection.

Higgins Contractors carrying out the work on behalf of the Napier City Council.

There was some minor delays to motorists during the course of the project.

It has the same physical attribute as the Tennyson Street, Marine Parade roundabout.

This roundabout aligns with the proposed installation of a new roundabout located at the other end of Browning Street, where it meets Shakespeare Road.
