Botanical Gardens Fountain

The Botanical Gardens Fountain. This small terracotta fountain was installed in the gardens the early years of the 20th century.

Its origins, donor and commemorative purpose remain a mystery as no reference to it has been found in council records.

In more recent years, the fountain was vandalised, resulting in the loss of its topmost levels.
