The McLean Park Memorial Gates from a distance.Two timber built ticket boxes set in a panelled brick wall, with fluted, tapering concrete posts dividing the panels. Located on Morris Street.
In memory of all those Hawke's Bay athletes who fell in the Great War 1914-1918 Their last great game of all.
McLean Park Memorial Gates Opened 13th December 1934.
This wall and gates were designed by J A Louis Hay, as was the "Prairie Style" pump house situated at the western end of the wall.
