Napier Youth Council

Our Youth Council is made up of 18 teenaged citizens of our city. Each year we look for nominations for new Youth Councillors as some of the team move on.

What is the Napier Youth Council?

The Napier Youth Council is made up of 12-18 teenagers who live, work or attend school in Napier. We call for applications at the end of each calendar year, and we also receive nominations from high schools, education providers and community organisations.

Each year the Youth Council set their work plan which involves projects, promotions, events and giving input and a youth perspective to the Napier City Council staff and Council.
