The purpose of this Sub Committee is to act as an agent of Creative New Zealand in the Napier community.
Terms of Reference:
To facilitate the Council's participatation in the Local Authority Arts Scheme and take responsibility for the allocation of Creative New Zealand funds to local arts and Creative Napier.
Nomination Selection Panel:
Membership - Chairperson (Councillor Boag), Community Arts Council Representative and the Scheme Administrator.
Purpose of Selection Panel - to assess the nominations received.
Note: This Sub Committee has delegated authority to act on behalf of the Council in the allocation of Creative New
Zealand funds. This Sub Committee reports through the City Services Committee as required.
The Committee's recommendations must be consistent with the Council's Ten Year Plan.
